Download and Installation: It took a few seconds to download Picasa. Installation is simple and straight forward. After first run the Picasa asks you where you want it to search for pictures. I have selected 'whole computer'. At my surprise Picasa has found photos which I've considered lost for two years. In fact it scans pictures in background and you can enjoy photo editing from the first seconds.

First impression: Picasa has a simple intuitive interface. I was able to organize my pictures by assigning them to different albums. Photo editing in Picasa is rich and easy to understand. Three categories "Basic Fixes", "Tuning" and "Effects" gives you full control of your pictures (look at screenshot on the right).

Power of organizing: It's so amazing how so simple in use application can be so powerful. You can keep a picture in many albums, add Labels, star rating, make really nice slideshows.

Joy of Sharing: Picasa allows you to publish your pictures on your web site by means of 'Blog This' feature, send photos via email or HelloTM instant picture chat.

Backup: A really important feature for pictures which you really like. You can do backup to a CD/DVD or to an external disk/flash drive.

Conclusion: To speak the truth Picasa surpass all my expectations. I recommend everybody who are interested in photo organizing and photo editing to use this completely free software.
